EPS & Revenue Growth Board – Historical Analysis

A fundamental analysis board designed to visualize EPS and revenue growth, acceleration, and deceleration using reported financial results.

Unlike a standard fundamentals dashboard that only shows the latest results, this indicator includes a historical date selection feature, allowing you to go back in time and examine what a company's fundamentals looked like at a specific point in the past.

This makes it useful not only for current stock analysis, but also for studying historical market leaders and major breakout stocks.

The board displays:

Quarterly EPS YoY growth
Quarterly Revenue YoY growth
Annual EPS growth
Annual Revenue growth
Quarterly growth trend
Annual growth trend
Short-term 2-quarter trend
Acceleration / deceleration indicators

Growth values are based on reported results, rather than analyst estimates or earnings surprise data.

Positive growth is displayed in green, while negative growth is displayed in red.

Trend arrows provide a quick visual indication of whether growth is accelerating or decelerating.

Historical Analysis

A date can be specified in the indicator settings.

The board will then display the financial information that would have been available around that point in time.

This allows you to study questions such as:

What did EPS and revenue growth look like before a major stock advance?
Was earnings growth accelerating before the breakout?
Did revenue growth confirm the EPS acceleration?
How did the fundamentals of past market leaders compare before their major moves?

This feature is especially useful for historical research into growth stocks and for studying characteristics commonly associated with CAN SLIM and momentum investing.

Purpose

The goal is not to predict stock prices from fundamentals alone, but to make changes in a company's growth profile easier to recognize and to combine that information with price, volume, relative strength, and chart patterns.

EPS & Revenue Growth Board – Historical Analysis

## Earnings Growth & Acceleration Dashboard

**Earnings Growth & Acceleration Dashboard** is a fundamental analysis tool designed to make quarterly earnings trends easy to read directly on a TradingView chart.

The dashboard tracks **reported EPS and quarterly Revenue** and organizes them into a compact table showing both growth and acceleration.

Instead of looking only at whether earnings are growing, the dashboard also helps answer an important question:

**Is the company's growth accelerating or slowing down?**

### Dashboard Structure

Each row represents one quarterly report.

**EPS**

* **EPS** — Reported earnings per share
* **QoQ** — Change from the previous quarter
* **2Q** — Compares combined two-quarter growth with the previous two-quarter period to help smooth short-term quarterly fluctuations
* **YoY** — Change from the same quarter one year earlier

**Revenue**

* **Revenue** — Quarterly revenue
* **QoQ** — Change from the previous quarter
* **2Q** — Two-quarter combined growth comparison
* **YoY** — Change from the same quarter one year earlier

### Growth Acceleration

The dashboard uses arrows to show whether growth is accelerating or decelerating.

**↑** Growth is accelerating
**↓** Growth is decelerating
**→** Growth is unchanged

Green indicates improvement, while red indicates deterioration.

This makes it possible to quickly identify situations where EPS or Revenue growth is beginning to accelerate across multiple quarters.

### Automatic Historical Tracking

The dashboard automatically uses the **rightmost visible bar on the chart as its reference date**.

There is no need to manually enter a historical date.

Simply scroll the chart into the past, and the dashboard automatically changes with it.

For example, if the right side of your chart ends in June 2024, the dashboard will display only earnings information that was available up to that point.

Earnings reports released after that date are excluded.

This allows you to study historical charts without accidentally using future fundamental information.

Move back to the latest part of the chart, and the dashboard automatically returns to the latest available results.

### Why This Is Useful

Price charts show what the market did.

This dashboard helps show **what the company's earnings and revenue were doing at the same time**.

It can be used to study:

* Earnings acceleration before major price advances
* Fundamental conditions around breakouts
* Changes in growth during base formations
* Differences between price strength and business performance
* Historical market leaders without future-data bias

The goal is not to generate buy or sell signals, but to make fundamental growth trends easier to analyze alongside price action.
