Linear Regression Projection Channel [CongTrader]

📌 Indicator Name
Linear Regression Projection Channel [CongTrader]
📝 Description (chuẩn SEO & Policy-safe)
Linear Regression Projection Channel [CongTrader] combines a dynamic Linear Regression Channel with pivot-based price projection to help traders visualize trend structure, volatility range, and potential future price zones.
The indicator calculates a rolling linear regression to define the central trendline and channel boundaries using standard deviation. In addition, confirmed pivot highs/lows are used to project a possible price path and highlight potential BUY/SELL ZONE areas.
This tool is designed for trend analysis, structure recognition, and projection visualization — not as a standalone trading system.
⚙️ Features
• Linear Regression Channel
• Dynamic trend slope detection
• Volatility-based channel width (StdDev)
• Pivot-based swing projection
• BUY ZONE / SELL ZONE labeling
• Clean overlay visualization
📊 How It Works
1️⃣ Regression Channel
A rolling linear regression defines the main trend direction and channel boundaries.
2️⃣ Trend Detection
Slope > 0 → Uptrend
Slope < 0 → Downtrend
3️⃣ Pivot Structure
Confirmed pivots identify swing points.
4️⃣ Projection Logic
The latest swing slope is extended forward to estimate potential price direction.
5️⃣ Projection Zones
BUY ZONE appears in uptrend projections
SELL ZONE appears in downtrend projections
🎯 Typical Use Cases
✅ Trend continuation analysis
✅ Pullback context within trend
✅ Visual projection reference
✅ Structure-based confluence
✅ Volatility envelope assessment
⚠️ Important Notes
• Pivot signals use confirmed pivots and may appear with delay
• Projection is an estimation, not a prediction
• Not financial advice
• Best used with confluence tools (S/R, Volume, PA…)
