GBPUSD H4: Recovery After Liquidity Sweep May Continue
GBPUSD is showing a clear recovery on the H4 timeframe after forming a bottom around the 1.3300–1.3350 zone. Price has now climbed back above both EMAs and is trading around 1.3480–1.3500, suggesting that short-term buyers are trying to regain control.
The key zone I’m watching now is 1.3465–1.3450. This is the area where price recently broke back above the EMAs, so if GBPUSD pulls back into this region and buyers continue defending it, the recovery structure may remain valid.
The current backdrop still depends heavily on USD data and Fed policy expectations, while the British pound is also influenced by inflation and the BoE outlook. Because of that, I would not chase longs directly near 1.3500. I prefer waiting for a support retest first.
