Quad Trend Cloud [@Mishu]
Quad Trend Cloud combines four moving averages into a single trend score and a colored cloud.
How it works
- Four freely configurable moving averages (EMA, SMA, WMA, HMA or RMA; default EMA 20, SMA 50, SMA 100, SMA 200).
- Trend score from -4 to +4: one point each for close > MA 1, MA 1 > MA 2, MA 2 > MA 3, MA 3 > MA 4 (minus one point if not).
- The cloud between MA 1 and MA 4 is colored on a gradient from bearish (-4) to bullish (+4).
- The table shows the score and the distance of price to each MA in percent.
- Crosses of MA 2 and MA 4 can be marked on the chart.
Alerts
Full bullish stack (+4), full bearish stack (-4), MA 2 crossing above / below MA 4. All alerts are evaluated on bar close.
Limitations
The score describes the current order of the averages. It does not predict how long a trend will last, and moving averages always lag price.
This is a rewritten successor of my earlier "4-Lines" scripts (Pine Script v6).
