# Suspension Block Finder
Suspension Block Finder identifies three-candle Suspension Blocks and displays them as directional price zones directly on the chart.
A Suspension Block is formed when:
- The body of the target candle, C2, is contained within the wick range of C1.
- A bullish and bearish body-gap imbalance frame C2.
- C2 closes either bullish or bearish.
Qualified blocks are displayed as:
- **Green zones** for Bullish Suspension Blocks
- **Red zones** for Bearish Suspension Blocks
- A white dashed **CE line**, representing the midpoint of the block
## Features
- Multiple imbalance detection modes:
- Body Gaps
- Full Candle Gaps
- Opposite Body Gaps
- Optional macro-time filter for the `XX:50–XX:10` window
- Configurable mitigation modes:
- Wick Touch
- Close Inside
- CE Cross
- Optional block invalidation:
- Bullish blocks invalidate after a close below the zone
- Bearish blocks invalidate after a close above the zone
- Invalidated blocks can either be faded or deleted
- Optional strength filters using:
- C2 body-to-range ratio
- C2 range relative to ATR
- Both conditions combined
- Active boxes and CE lines dynamically extend as new candles form
- Zones stop extending when mitigated or invalidated
- Configurable maximum number of retained blocks
- Alerts for newly confirmed bullish and bearish Suspension Blocks
Signals are confirmed after the third candle closes. The macro filter uses the chart symbol’s exchange timezone. The imbalance logic is based on price and candle-body separation rather than actual volume data.
This indicator is intended for market-structure analysis and identifying potential reaction zones. It should be used alongside broader context, risk management, and independent confirmation.
