🙏 All glory to G-d
Respect to AK — discipline, patience, and clean execution.

This project started from the core “session streak” concept popularized by LuxAlgo (session direction + consecutive streak count), one of the best out there. I used that foundation as the seed, then built my own expansion around it: session structure, value references, and context layers designed to work together as one coherent session map.
what this indicator is
Session Barricade is a session-structure framework that draws the active session as a clean, readable boundary (high/low), then layers in optional tools that answer one question:
“Is price accepting, rotating, or expanding — and is participation confirming it?”
It is not meant to “predict.” It is meant to reduce noise and force clarity around session context.
what it builds on the chart (core modules)
A) Session Barricade (structure)
Tracks the active session high/low in real time
Optional fill for instant “inside vs outside” context
Session label can show direction plus streak count (the original concept, expanded)
B) Value references (participation vs drift)
Session VWAP (session-reset)
VWAP deviation bands (standard deviation)
Session TWAP (session-reset) to compare time drift vs real participation
C) Acceptance map (auction behavior)
Optional session profile tools: point of control and value area when enabled
These are meant to highlight where trade is concentrating vs where price is being rejected
D) Confirmation layers (optional)
Cumulative delta + pivot-confirmed divergence markers
Optional imbalance and absorption flags when flow data is available
Designed as context confirmation, not standalone “buy/sell magic”
E) Internal levels (optional)
Gann-style internal range fractions (1/8ths and additional fractions)
These are objective subdivisions of the same session range so levels stay consistent
how it works (simple and explicit)
Step 1 — Define the boundary
The session high/low becomes the working box. Inside the box = rotation/auction. Outside the box = expansion or rejection.
Step 2 — Define “value control”
VWAP represents where volume-weighted participation is centered. TWAP represents time drift. Comparing price to both helps separate real direction from chop.
Step 3 — Define acceptance
When enabled, POC/Value Area highlight where the session is accepting price (magnet zones) and where it is rejecting (edge behavior).
Step 4 — Confirm with flow (optional)
Delta and divergence logic is pivot-confirmed (prints after confirmation) to avoid early, repaint-prone behavior. Flow flags are meant to confirm conditions, not command entries.
how to use it (clean workflow)
Start with the barricade
If price is rotating inside: expect mean reversion behavior between edges and value.
If price is expanding outside: watch for continuation or failed breakout back into the box.
Read value
Above VWAP/TWAP: premium conditions
Below VWAP/TWAP: discount conditions
Mixed: rotation / balance
Use acceptance levels
POC often behaves like a magnet in balanced conditions.
Value Area edges often behave like decision points.
Use confirmations only at locations that matter
Divergence at extremes or at key levels matters.
Divergence in the middle of noise usually does not.
suitable markets and timeframes
Built for session-based trading and works best on liquid instruments where volume behavior is meaningful (index futures, major forex pairs, liquid equities, major crypto).
Common use cases:
intraday structure + execution context (1–30m)
higher timeframe session context (1H–1D), especially when using session boundaries as “range regimes”
limitations (important)
Some flow features depend on data availability; when unavailable, the script uses proxy estimates so the framework still functions.
Pivot-confirmed logic appears with a confirmation delay by design (that is the trade-off for non-repainting structure signals).
This is a context tool. Your execution still requires structure, risk management, and confirmation with price action.
