## Overview
**ATK/DEF Power Swing -EP Major Swing Point** is a multi-component market structure analysis indicator designed to visualize major swing points, structure breaks, relative activity measurements, Supply and Demand Order Block zones, and Higher Timeframe Fair Value Gaps.
The indicator combines price structure with time-based measurements and configurable activity calculations, providing a broader view of how major swing structures form and how price interacts with key structural levels.
## Key Features
### 1. Major Swing High / Low
- Identifies Major Swing Highs and Major Swing Lows using pivot-based calculations.
- Uses a configurable Major Swing Length to control structural sensitivity.
- Includes ATR-based price-distance filtering and bar-distance filtering to reduce nearby duplicate swing points.
- Displays the elapsed time between consecutive accepted swing points.
### 2. Major Liquidity Activity Analysis
- Measures activity around major swing points using three configurable calculation modes:
- **Volume** — accumulated chart volume.
- **Value** — volume multiplied by the average of the candle's high and low.
- **Volatility** — volume multiplied by the candle's high-low range.
- Compares the calculated values against a rolling historical sample.
- Assigns relative High, Mid, or Low grades when enough historical samples are available.
These values are calculation-based activity measures derived from chart data. They do not represent a direct measurement of total market liquidity or verified institutional activity.
### 3. BOS / CHoCH Structure Analysis
- Detects upward and downward structural breaks using candle-close confirmation.
- Classifies events as BOS or CHoCH according to the indicator's internal sequence of previously broken structures.
- Provides optional horizontal breakout lines and structure labels.
- Displays formation-time information and breakout-related timing information alongside the structure event.
### 4. Supply and Demand Order Block Zones
- Identifies a qualifying opposing candle within the interval between major swing points.
- Displays potential Supply and Demand zones as chart boxes.
- Includes the selected candle's volume in the zone label.
- Supports independent visibility settings and configurable zone colors.
The displayed zones follow the script's candle-selection rules and should be interpreted as rule-based chart annotations rather than verified institutional order records.
### 5. Higher Timeframe FVG
- Supports a configurable Higher Timeframe, with the daily timeframe as the default.
- Can display bullish and bearish Fair Value Gap zones independently of the major swing modules.
- Includes a minimum gap-size setting.
- Displays the timeframe and directional candle-volume composition in the gap label.
### 6. Higher Timeframe IFVG and Vortex Pull Strength
- Identifies inversion conditions based on the script's Higher Timeframe gap and closing-price rules.
- Displays potential inverted gap zones as support or resistance annotations.
- Includes an optional **Pull Strength (%)** score calculated from gap size relative to ATR, candle-body size, and relative volume.
- Allows the score display to be enabled or disabled independently.
The Pull Strength score is a rule-based composite metric, not a statistically validated probability of reversal or future price movement.
