Fresh off 3 consecutive winning shorts, looking to flip for a long scalp.
For this long, I’m using a strict trigger-based approach. Given current market conditions, I’m waiting for a clear Sweep + Reclaim sequence.
The arrow on the chart is my entry trigger.
Why use triggers for longs but not for shorts?
Simple: we’re in a bear market with a clear downward trend. Since I’m trading against the trend, the risk is higher. Using triggers provides that extra layer of confirmation and safety I need before jumping in.
Alongside the trigger, I'm reducing my position size (margin + leverage) for this long compared to the shorts.
