Recently I made an analysis on Bitcoin, which is currently trading in a similar pattern. Although this ETH chart looks more bullish, we have a very important week ahead for both assets. See my BTC link below.
In the next few days we will see if the bullish channel will either hold or break on the bottom side. In my view we're going to see a bearish break either now or in the future, so personally I'd rather see a bearish break so that we can just be over with it.
If we break the channel, I think that the next important area will be the area between $2000 and $1800. If BTC will go towards $30k, a sub-2k ETH is to expected at some point.
