29,271.12 (EMA50 1H) — reclamado, ahora soporte inmediato.

"It's not strength that reclaims a level. It's the absence of whoever was defending it."

📍 What's happening
USTEC trades at 29,424.70, above its 1H EMA50 (29,271.12) after reclaiming it earlier this session. Last closed candle at 29,440.20, session high 29,452.10. The weekly inner zone (28,977.65) sits behind as confirmed support, following a June-July range that rejected price multiple times at 29,695.70.
This week wasn't one catalyst — it was four fronts moving at once, and today's digest confirms none of them closed:
Iran. China reported factory prices rising for a fourth straight month due to the Hormuz closure — the week's highest-weighted story, crossing two threads at once (Iran + EM rotation). Iran already responded with missiles toward Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, ignoring Trump's warning of "much worse" bombing.
Fed/Warsh. Hawkish minutes, with "several" officials saying current rates aren't restrictive. Gold already felt the real-rate squeeze — equities haven't yet, per Deutsche Bank.
Momentum/Quant. UBS confirmed active deleveraging in Equity L/S and Quant funds, in the US and Japan, from heavy Memory/AI degrossing. Goldman warned that if this goes from crack to crevice, the historical momentum drawdown is double the current one.
Korea/Semis. The Kospi fell into a technical bear market, -20% from June's peak. Samsung reported its best quarter in company history and still lost $100 billion in market value in a day — the market no longer forgives even perfection. Goldman is telling clients to rotate toward the China AI value chain.

⚖️ The Referee

The 30Y yield remains the variable deciding whether USTEC's bounce breathes or suffocates. Deutsche Bank sums it up: high real rates only coexist with strong equities if earnings keep validating those valuations — and that validation hasn't arrived yet. Meanwhile, the Fed's hawkish minutes and inflation fears at Warsh's first meeting keep the weight up; three pieces from this thread made this week's top 5, all boosted for falling inside the recent-meeting window.

🗺️ The technical map

29,271.12 (1H EMA50) — reclaimed, now immediate support. As long as price holds above it, the recovery structure stays intact.
29,695.70 (Weekly Resistance/Support) — the next real ceiling, already rejected price multiple times through the June-July range.
30,321.95 (External liquidity) — untouched zone since mid-June, natural magnet if momentum holds above 29,695.
30,755.17 (All Time Highs) — the definitive proof the referee truly gave ground.
28,977.65 / 28,501.83-28,408.46 / 28,190.26 — weekly support, Inner Key Level, and external support, in that order, if the scenario reverses.

🗓️ The catalyst

Quant fund drawdown is now the worst since August 2025, with comparisons (still speculative, unconfirmed) circulating about the 2007 quant fund collapse. Not the same scale — yet. But it's the same forced-deleveraging mechanism UBS and Goldman have been describing all week. July 29th, Warsh's Fed meets again, without having given forward guidance.
No fixed bias. Price leads.
