XAUUSD remains under pressure after London open, and the current structure still favors bearish continuation rather than a meaningful bullish repair.
The key shift is that price is trading below the major long-term value control line at 4207.35, which comes from the broader 160-day profile. That matters because once price loses a major accepted value area and fails to reclaim it, the auction often starts searching for lower acceptance.
That is exactly what this chart is showing now.
The right-side composite profile marks the larger structural battlefield. Yesterday’s yellow profile references acted as prior working value, but price failed to sustain there. Today’s red references are now the live execution map, and London has so far confirmed weakness rather than repair.
What London open showed:
• No meaningful reclaim of major value
• Repeated failure under the intraday repair zones
• Continued pressure near the lows
• Lower acceptance behavior, not recovery behavior
Key structure:
• Major value pivot: 4207.35
• First repair gate: 4173.00–4174.13
• Better repair confirmation: 4191.80
• Higher reclaim shelves: 4236.00, 4252.60, 4280.01
As long as price remains below 4191.80, the pressure stays with the sell side.
As long as price remains below 4207.35, the market is still trading below major value.
Downside map:
• 4168.53 / 4168.40 = immediate low zone
• 4164.93
• 4161.33
• 4157.73
• 4154.13
• 4150.53 = lower gate 2
• 4108.00
• 4083.00 = lower pocket
Primary read:
This is still a bearish continuation environment.
The market is not yet proving bullish repair.
Any bounce that fails below 4174, 4191.80, or especially 4207.35 remains vulnerable to being sold again.
What would change the tone?
For bulls to regain control, price would need to:
1) reclaim 4173.00–4174.13
2) accept above 4191.80
3) rotate back above 4207.35
Without that, upside attempts remain tactical repair only, not structural reversal.
My current auction verdict:
The market has fallen out of higher value and is trying to establish lower value. That keeps the path of least resistance tilted lower unless buyers can force real acceptance back above the lost control zones.
