Outlook and Analysis for Next Week

If prices continue to fluctuate below 4200 next week, we will continue to be bearish. On Friday, we first profited from a rebound based on oversold signals, then shorted at 4170 after a stall at 4180, exiting all positions with profits before the close. Overall, the market's expectation of interest rate hikes currently overshadows the positive impact of a ceasefire. If prices break above 4200 at the open next week, we will immediately follow the trend on any pullback, with a stop-loss of around $10 and a target of over $20. At the start of the week, the strategy was to remain bearish but avoid chasing the downside; instead, the plan was to short upon a rebound toward the 4220 resistance level—a move that played out perfectly as the price spiked and then retreated shortly after the open. In live trading, a short position was opened at 4112 and successfully closed at the 4070 target, securing an initial profit of 42 points. Currently, the 4-hour chart shows a rebound from a low level, with the price retracement stabilizing above the moving average. The Bollinger Bands are narrowing, indicating an overall bearish bias. However, the buying support at the 4100-4000 level is strong, so shorting is not recommended. The daily chart hasn't shown further widening, so a wide-range consolidation is expected. Resistance levels are at 4245-50 and 4290-4300, while support levels are at 4120 and 4060. The recommended strategy is to buy low and sell high.
Continue to look for shorting opportunities near the 4250–4246 range.
