MTF Trend Dashboard

464
MTF Trend Dashboard is a compact, forex-focused panel that shows the trend on up to five timeframes, how well they agree, which trading session is active right now and how much of the average daily range has already been used. It is designed to answer three questions before you take a trade: Which way is the higher-timeframe flow? Is the market active? Is there still room to move today?

HOW THE TREND IS DETERMINED
Each selected timeframe receives a score built from three independent components:
- Price location: +1 if the close is above the slow EMA (default 200), -1 if below.
- EMA slope structure: +1 if the fast EMA (default 50) is above the slow EMA, -1 if below.
- Market structure (optional): +1 if the last break of structure was to the upside (close above the last swing high), -1 if it was to the downside.

A score of +2 or more is shown as BULLISH, -2 or less as BEARISH, anything in between as NEUTRAL. When all components agree the label is marked with "●" and drawn in full colour; partial agreement is drawn in a lighter shade.

All higher-timeframe values are taken from the last CLOSED candle of that timeframe, so the panel does not repaint. Timeframes lower than the chart timeframe are shown as "—" because they cannot be evaluated reliably.

PANEL ROWS
- EMA lineup: alignment of three EMAs (default 20/50/200) on the chart timeframe – BULLISH, BEARISH or MIXED.
- Up to five timeframes (default 2m, 5m, 15m, 1H, 4H), each can be changed or disabled.
- Alignment: how many timeframes agree, e.g. "4/5 BULLISH".
- Active Session: Asia, London, New York or the London + NY overlap, based on the current time. Session hours are defined in each centre's local time (Tokyo, London, New York), so daylight-saving changes are handled automatically. Weekends are shown as "Market Closed".
- ADR: average daily range of the last N days in pips (JPY pairs are handled correctly).
- Today's Range: today's high-low range in pips and the percentage of the ADR already used (orange above 75%, red above 100%).

ALERTS
- All timeframes bullish
- All timeframes bearish

HOW TO USE
Use the panel as context, not as an entry signal: for example, focus on long setups when most timeframes are bullish, prefer trading during the London and New York sessions, and be cautious about chasing moves after a large part of the daily range has already been used.
