[blackcat] L3 Banker Fund Flow Trend Oscillator

Level: 3
Background
The large funds or banker fund are often referred to as Whale. Whale can have a significant impact on the price movements in various markets, especially in cryptocurrency . Therefore, how to monitor Whale trends is of great significance both in terms of fundamentals and technical aspects.

In real life, I am a prolific inventor. I have successfully applied for more than 60 international and regional patents in the past 12 years. But in the past two years or so, I have tried to transfer my creativity to the development of trading strategies. Tradingview is the ideal platform for me. I am selecting and contributing some of the hundreds of scripts to publish in Tradingview community. Welcome everyone to interact with me to discuss these interesting pine scripts.
The scripts posted are categorized into 5 levels according to my efforts or manhours put into these works.
Level 1 : interesting script snippets or distinctive improvement from classic indicators or strategy. Level 1 scripts can usually appear in more complex indicators as a function module or element.
Level 2 : composite indicator/strategy. By selecting or combining several independent or dependent functions or sub indicators in proper way, the composite script exhibits a resonance phenomenon which can filter out noise or fake trading signal to enhance trading confidence level.
Level 3 : comprehensive indicator/strategy. They are simple trading systems based on my strategies. They are commonly containing several or all of entry signal, close signal, stop loss, take profit, re-entry, risk management, and position sizing techniques. Even some interesting fundamental and mass psychological aspects are incorporated.
Level 4 : script snippets or functions that do not disclose source code. Interesting element that can reveal market laws and work as raw material for indicators and strategies. If you find Level 1~2 scripts are helpful, Level 4 is a private version that took me far more efforts to develop.
Level 5 : indicator/strategy that do not disclose source code. private version of Level 3 script with my accumulated script processing skills or a large number of custom functions. I had a private function library built in past two years. Level 5 scripts use many of them to achieve private trading strategy.

OVERVIEW This script implements the L3 Banker Fund Flow Trend Oscillator, providing insights into market trends through specific indicators and signals.FEATURES
Calculates Banker Fund Flow Trend, Bull Bear Line, and Entry Signal.
Uses colored candles to indicate different trading scenarios: entry, increase/decrease positions, exit, and weak rebounds.
Includes overbought and oversold thresholds for better risk management.
Features customizable alerts for each type of candle event.
HOW TO USE
Import the script into TradingView.
Adjust settings if necessary using the inputs tab.
Observe the oscillator plot below the main chart.
Utilize candle colors and alerts to make informed trading decisions.
LIMITATIONS
Performance may vary across different asset classes and timeframes.
Relies heavily on historical data accuracy; backtesting recommended before live use.
NOTES
The script uses custom functions like find_recent_value and calculate_weighted_simple_average.
Candles represent potential trades but do not guarantee profits.
Always consider combining this indicator with other analysis tools.

█ OVERVIEWA banker fund flow oscillator that tracks institutional-style money pressure as candles around a bull/bear line. It converts the relative position of price inside its recent range into a smooth trend oscillator, and adds a complete trading toolkit: long and short multi-channel signals with re-entry support, optional stop-and-reverse, direction-aware ATR take-profit and stop-loss levels on the price chart, false-signal filters, noise reduction, and a full status dashboard.
█ CONCEPTS
The script models how a "banker" (large operator) may be accumulating or distributing through a five-step cycle:
Key principles:
• Fund Flow Trend: a double-smoothed stochastic of price position inside the lookback range, scaled around 50
• Bull/Bear Line: an EMA of the typical price position within a wider Fibonacci-length band
• State Candles: the relation between the two lines and short-term pullbacks defines five candle states
• Zone Thresholds: long entries need the bull/bear line in the lower zone; long exits and short entries mirror it in the upper zone
• Long/Short Symmetry: every downward event that exits a long position is also a short entry event, and vice versa
█ HOW TO USE
1 — Add the indicator; it renders in its own pane below the chart, with entry/TP/SL levels drawn on the price chart
2 — Tune lengths and levels in the "Oscillator Settings" group; defaults keep classic behavior
3 — Enable extra signal channels and protection filters in "Signal Governance" and "Signal Filters"
4 — Watch candle colors, signal markers, and the top-right dashboard; create alerts from the alert dialog
Input Parameters
• Raw Stochastic Length (27), Fast / Slow Smoothing (5 / 3), Smoothing Weight (1): core oscillator construction
• Bull/Bear Band Length (34) and EMA Length (13): construction of the bull/bear line
• Pullback Ratio (0.95): short-term pullback threshold for the white candle
• Entry / Exit Zone Threshold (25 / 75) and Overbought / Strong / Oversold / Weak Levels (80 / 90 / 20 / 10): guide lines and zones
• Zone Breakout Entry, Oversold Recovery Entry, Overbought Rollover Exit, Trend-Line Flip Exit: extra signal channels, shared between long exits and short entries
• Short Entry Signals with Stop-and-Reverse toggle: mirrored short side with SI/SO/RS signals
• Volume Confirmation, Trend Alignment filter, Higher-Timeframe Trend filter, Wide-Range Bar filter: direction-aware false-signal protection
• Cross Hysteresis, Extra Smoothing Length: noise reduction controls
• ATR Take-Profit / Stop-Loss with configurable multipliers: direction-aware risk management
• Dashboard, Background, Labels, Signal Labels (IN/OUT/SI/SO/RL/RS/TP/SL), Trend Line, and price-chart TP/SL display: visualization switches
█ FEATURES
• Five-state candle visualization with legend titles
• Three entry channels and three exit channels per side, combined in one long/short state machine with cooldown, re-entry (RL/RS) support, and optional stop-and-reverse
• Direction-aware ATR take-profit and stop-loss locked at entry and refreshed on re-entry, drawn on the main chart, with TP/SL hit detection and exit handling for both sides
• False-signal filters: volume confirmation, direction-aware trend alignment, higher-timeframe bull/bear alignment (non-repainting), and volatility-spike rejection
• Noise reduction: optional extra smoothing and cross hysteresis
• Status dashboard with trend, bull/bear line, candle state, governed position (LONG/SHORT/FLAT), entry price, TP/SL levels and distances, open P&L, filter status, and signal counters
• State-colored trend line, text-abbreviation signal labels, background tinting, and entry/exit labels
• Thirteen alertcondition channels plus dynamic alert() messages confirmed on bar close
█ SIGNALS
Visual Elements
• Yellow candle: banker entry — trend crosses above the bull/bear line in the lower zone
• Green candle: increase — trend above the bull/bear line
• White candle: decrease — trend falls below its pullback reference
• Red candle: exit — trend below the bull/bear line
• Blue candle: weak rebound — a pullback that stays inside a bearish state
• Lime label "IN": long entry, with trigger-channel suffixes — XB cross breakout, ZB zone breakout, OSR oversold recovery; R suffix marks a stop-and-reverse from short; tooltip shows entry price and TP/SL levels
• Orange label "OUT": long exit, suffixes — MX mirror exit, OBR overbought rollover, FL trend flip
• Fuchsia label "SI": short entry, suffixes — MX mirror cross, ZD zone breakdown, OBR overbought rollover, FL trend flip; R suffix marks a stop-and-reverse from long
• Blue label "SO": short exit, suffixes — XB / ZB / OSR (the mirrored long-side events)
• Teal label "RL" / purple label "RS": re-entry long / short while already positioned — refreshes entry price and TP/SL
• Teal label "TP" / maroon label "SL" on the price chart: take-profit / stop-loss hit (direction-aware)
• Gray / teal / maroon lines on the price chart: locked entry, take-profit, and stop-loss levels
█ IMPLEMENTATION NOTES
Open-source under MPL 2.0. Built on ta.lowest, ta.highest, ta.ema, ta.atr, ta.sma, ta.crossover, and ta.crossunder with zero-division guards on both range denominators. All ta.* calls run unconditionally on every bar. The optional higher-timeframe filter uses confirmed HTF values only (previous-bar close and EMA via lookahead_off), so no repaint is possible. All alert() messages fire at bar close. Labels are capped via max_labels_count.
█ LIMITATIONS
• Oscillator-based: whipsaws are possible in ranging markets; filters and governance mitigate but do not eliminate them
• Pullback-based white/blue states describe short-term deceleration, not a standalone reversal signal
• ATR stops are informational reference levels, not managed positions; slippage and gaps are not modeled
• Enabling many extra channels at once increases trade frequency; tune per market and timeframe
█ NOTES
• V2 polish: fully parameterized inputs, signal governance, dashboard, background, labels, and expanded alerts; V1 candle semantics preserved with default settings
• V2 long/short: mirrored short side (SI/SO), re-entry signals (RL/RS), stop-and-reverse mode, and direction-aware filters/stops
• Inspired by classic banker/institutional fund-flow concepts; credit to the original blackcat L3 series
