EQUAL VOLUME
EQUAL VOLUME compares the volume of two consecutive candles to identify periods where trading activity is nearly equal.
The indicator measures the difference between Candle 1 and Candle 2 volume. If the difference is within the selected Maximum Volume Difference and Candle 2 has the higher volume, the indicator marks Candle 2.
A green marker appears below bullish candles and a red marker appears above bearish candles.
An optional Same Color filter can also be enabled. When turned on, signals will only appear when both candles close the same color:
• Green + Green
• Red + Red
This indicator can be useful for spotting areas where volume remains balanced between consecutive candles while one candle slightly increases in participation. These areas may help highlight continuation, pressure, or potential reaction zones when combined with price action, support/resistance, or other confirmation.
