[blackcat] L2 Cyberpunk Value Trend Analyzer

7 209
█ OVERVIEW

The Cyberpunk Value Trend Analyzer is a sophisticated technical indicator that combines multiple analytical approaches to identify trend strength and potential trading opportunities. This indicator visualizes value momentum through a unique calculation method that incorporates price deviation, moving averages, and oscillators to provide clear buy/sell signals.

█ CONCEPTS

This indicator utilizes a proprietary algorithm that analyzes price deviation from moving averages, combines it with weighted calculations, and integrates oscillator-like readings to determine trend strength and direction.

Key principles:
• Value Trend calculation based on normalized price movements
• Multi-timeframe analysis using weighted moving averages
• Oscillator integration for overbought/oversold identification
• Signal generation through level crossing detection

█ HOW TO USE

1 — Add the indicator to your chart from the Indicators menu
2 — Adjust input parameters to suit your trading style (Entry Level, Exit Level, Colors)
3 — Monitor the Value Trend line and signals for trading opportunities

Input Parameters
• Entry Level: Sets the threshold for buy signals (default: 30)
• Exit Level: Sets the threshold for sell signals (default: 75)
• Value Trend Line: Color of the main trend line
• Overbought Histogram: Color for overbought visualization
• Buy Signal Histogram: Color for buy signal visualization
• Entry/Exit Level Colors: Colors for the horizontal level lines
• Show Status Table: Toggle for the information table display
• Show Buy/Sell Labels: Toggle for signal labels on the chart

█ SIGNALS

Visual Elements
• Value Trend Line (Cyan): Main indicator line showing trend momentum
• Overbought Histogram (Magenta): Appears when value trend exceeds deviation index
• Buy Signal Histogram (Pink): Vertical bars marking buy opportunities
• Entry Level (Yellow): Dotted horizontal line for buy signal threshold
• Exit Level (Cyan): Dotted horizontal line for sell signal threshold
• Buy Labels (Green): "🚀 BUY" labels appear at buy signal points
• Sell Labels (Red): "💰 SELL" labels appear at sell signal points

Signal Interpretation
• Buy Signal: Value Trend crosses above Entry Level or histogram appears
• Sell Signal: Value Trend crosses below Exit Level
• Overbought: Value Trend exceeds deviation index (magenta histogram)
• Status Table: Real-time display of indicator values and current signal

█ LIMITATIONS

• Like all technical indicators, it works best in trending markets
• May generate false signals during sideways or choppy market conditions
• Performance varies across different timeframes and instruments
• Should be used in conjunction with other analysis methods for confirmation

█ NOTES

• The indicator uses a cyberpunk-inspired color scheme for visual appeal
• All calculations are based on proprietary weighted moving average formulas
• The status table provides real-time values for multiple internal calculations
• Alerts can be set for buy/sell signals and overbought/oversold conditions

█ OVERVIEW

A cyberpunk styled oscillator that scores where price sits inside its recent range and turns it
into a full long and short workflow: entry, exit, ATR stop loss and take profit, optional
re-entry and alerts.

It answers one question on every bar: is value expanding or contracting, and what should be
done about it now?

█ CONCEPTS

 • Normalized value: price is mapped onto a 0 to 100 scale between the lowest low and the
highest high of the lookback window, so one scale works on any symbol and timeframe.
 • Weighted smoothing: a custom recursive average smooths that value, and the spread between a
fast and a slow leg produces the Value Trend line, which accelerates ahead of price turns.
 • Deviation index: the inverted distance of price from its moving average. When the Value Trend
rises above it, the market is stretched.

Signals are edge triggered level crossings, filtered by a position state machine, a cooldown
and an optional HTF gate.

█ HOW TO USE

1 — Add the indicator to a chart. It opens in its own pane below price.
2 — Keep the defaults first (Entry Level 30, Exit Level 75) and read a few weeks of history.
3 — Pick Trading Mode: Long Only for spot and stocks, Long & Short for futures, crypto and FX.
4 — Raise the Entry Level for fewer and later longs, lower the Exit Level for later shorts.
5 — Enable the HTF gate to trade with the dominant trend, leave it off for range work.

Reading a signal
 • Crossing above the Entry Level arms a long; crossing below the Exit Level arms a short and
takes profit on an open long at the same time.
 • A long closes on any of: opposite crossing, stop loss, take profit, or the value falling
back below the Entry Level as failed entry protection.
 • The table shows state, ATR stop and target, readings and cooldown.

█ INPUT PARAMETERS

 • Deviation MA Length (13) and Range Lookback (75): the deviation and normalization windows.
 • Normalized Price Smoothing (20), Trend Acceleration Lookback (5) and Weighted SMA Weight
(1.0): the shape and speed of the Value Trend line.
 • Entry Level (30) and Exit Level (75): the two trigger thresholds.
 • Trading Mode, Confirm Signals on Bar Close, Exit on Opposite Level Re-cross.
 • Enable Re-entry and Anchor Window: optional re-entry after an exit.
 • Same-bar Entry/Exit Exclusivity and Cooldown Bars: signal governance.
 • ATR Length, Stop Loss x ATR (2.0), Take Profit x ATR (3.0), optional trailing stop.
 • HTF Timeframe and HTF EMA Length: the optional higher timeframe gate.
 • Visual toggles and a full cyberpunk color palette.

█ SIGNALS

 • BUY and SELL labels: entry triggers on the oscillator.
 • XL and XS labels: exits tagged with the reason (REV reversal, LVL level re-cross, SL stop,
  TP target).
 • RL and RS labels: optional re-entry.
 • Pane background: translucent green while long, magenta while short.
 • Fill between the Value Trend and the deviation band, brighter when stretched.
 • Status table: state, levels, ATR, stop and target, HTF direction, cooldown.

Alerts cover entries, exits, stop loss, take profit, re-entry and zone changes.

█ IMPLEMENTATION NOTES

Open source. Built with ta.sma, ta.lowest, ta.highest, ta.atr and ta.crossover plus a user
defined recursive average. HTF data comes from the previous closed HTF bar with lookahead on,
so the gate does not repaint. Signals confirm on bar close by default.

█ LIMITATIONS

 • It is a reversal style oscillator: in strong one way trends it exits early and waits for a
  fresh crossing.
 • The 75 bar normalization makes the first bars after a symbol change unreadable.
 • No position sizing, equity curve or backtest statistics: this is an indicator.
 • Low liquidity symbols can produce noisy ATR stops.
 • Best on 15 minute charts and above, noisy below 5 minutes.

█ NOTES

Version 2 turns the original one sided oscillator into a governed long and short workflow with
ATR risk management. Credit to the original TScript value trend idea.
