This indicator is a strictly filtered scanner that hunts for the precise Volatility Contraction and Momentum Anomalies popularized by legendary market wizards like Mark Minervini, Dan Zanger, Nicolas Darvas, and Kristjan Kullamägi.
Instead of cluttering your chart with arbitrary lines, this suite only triggers when the broader market regime is in a confirmed uptrend with exhausting volume.
⚙️ Core Innovations
• Smart Trade Plan Tooltips: Hover over or click any pattern label to instantly view the calculated 🟢 Entry Trigger, 🔴 Stop Loss, and 🎯 Target Strategy for that specific setup.
• Transparent Overlays: Uses Pine Script v6 to draw shaded boxes exactly over the historical footprint of the pattern, highlighting the structural zone.
• Strict Regime Filters: Eliminates false positives in choppy markets. Patterns only print if the asset is trending (Price > 20 EMA > 50 SMA) and volume is contracting.
🔍 The 5 Patterns Detected
1. Minervini’s VCP: Highlights sequential volatility contraction (e.g., depths of 25% ➔ 12% ➔ 4%). Buy the final pivot.
2. Zanger’s High Tight Flag (HTF): Detects a massive >90% "Pole" move followed by a tight flag consolidation (<25% drawdown).
3. Darvas Box: Maps the classic 3-day confirmed top and bottom accumulation zones for trend-following.
4. Kullamägi’s Episodic Pivot (EP): Flags high-volume, high-close gap ups (>5%). Wait for the 3-5 day tight flag to form before entry.
5. Crabel’s NR7 & ID/NR4: Identifies extreme micro-compression (narrowest range in 7 or 4 days) signaling an imminent 1-3 day volatility thrust.
