BTCUSDT | Multi-FVG Alignment — Retrace Then Sell into SSL

140
On the 1D timeframe, BTCUSDT is aligning with a broader bearish HTF narrative, with price continuing to respect lower highs and showing weakness after recent downside expansion.

The structure shows a clear bearish shift following internal Break of Structure (BOS) on the lower timeframe, confirming short-term order flow to the downside. The most recent impulsive leg created multiple stacked Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) — one near equilibrium, another slightly above in premium, and a lower one closer to current price.

This layered inefficiency suggests a classic ICT setup where price may rebalance into higher FVGs before continuing lower. The presence of multiple imbalances increases the probability of a deeper retracement, potentially targeting the upper FVG in the premium zone — a strong area for distribution.

From a liquidity perspective, price is currently sitting near short-term lows, likely building Sell-Side Liquidity (SSL). However, before delivering into that liquidity, I expect a corrective move upward to tap into the inefficiencies above and potentially sweep minor Buy-Side Liquidity (BSL) formed during consolidation.

This aligns with ICT’s Power of 3: accumulation at the lows, manipulation upward into FVG/premium zones, followed by distribution to the downside.

Execution-wise, I am watching for price to trade into the upper FVG and form a lower timeframe Change of Character (CHoCH) or rejection for short entries. This would align with both HTF bias and LTF liquidity engineering.

Targets are set below current lows, aiming for a sweep of external SSL and continuation if momentum sustains.

Invalidation would be a strong bullish expansion holding above the upper FVG, suggesting a shift in short-term structure.
