Gold completed a significant sell-side liquidity raid after a week-long markdown phase.
What Happened?
• Buy-side liquidity was swept above the original consolidation.
• Price delivered a sharp bearish expansion and continued lower.
• The move ultimately ran into sell-side liquidity, taking out the previous swing low.
• As liquidity was being taken, Gold printed an SMT divergence, signaling weakening bearish momentum.
• Price is now reacting from a discount zone with a Smart Money Reversal and bullish CISD developing.

✅ H1 Fair Value Gap acting as support
Bullish Scenario
As long as current lows hold, I expect a retracement into higher-timeframe inefficiencies and premium pricing.
Potential targets:
- Nearby H1/H4 FVGs
- Original consolidation range
- Untapped liquidity resting above recent highs
