USOIL has seen a significant pullback after the easing of tensions in the Middle East, but as long as geopolitical conflicts have not completely subsided, the downside potential for USOIL is limited. Moreover, the arrival of the summer peak demand season provides macroeconomic support for crude oil prices.
From the current structure, although USOIL has pulled back several times, it has not broken the previous structural support, and the strong support below limits the downside potential of USOIL. Moreover, as USOIL repeatedly tested the bottom and rebounded, it built relatively strong short-term support in the 87-85 area. This is conducive to a continued rebound for USOIL. It is expected that USOIL will have a chance to rebound and test the 92-96 area, or even the major psychological level of 100!
USOIL may retest support and then rise again in the short term:
Short-term technical support: 87-85 / 82-80;
Short-term major resistance: 92-94 / 98-100
Therefore, in the short term, I still prioritize buying USOIL after it pulls back to the 87-85 area.
