Gold Market Analysis for Monday

109
No major economic data is scheduled for release on Monday. The market will follow last Friday’s price action, with no sharp volatility expected; the session will likely feature sideways movement to shake out retail traders. The 4040–4060 zone acts as key resistance, where a large volume of long positions from earlier trades are trapped. Gold prices will most likely face selling pressure and pull back once rebounding to this range. The medium-term bearish bias can only ease if prices firmly break and hold above 4100.

On the downside, the 3990–4000 range serves as near-term support for long positions. As long as this zone holds, the day’s market will maintain a mild bullish corrective trend. Major near-term support levels sit at 3960 and 3940. A decisive break below 3940 will unlock further downside room.

Overall, against a broader macro bearish backdrop, gold will trade sideways for position washing. Sharp trending moves will only emerge after major economic data prints on Tuesday and Wednesday. Sideways consolidation is a standard market mechanism to flush weak hands—do not let short-term price swings disrupt your trading plan. The primary short-to-medium bearish trend remains intact, making selling on solid rebound highs the optimal trading approach. I share trading strategies every single day.
