☀️ Hey, hope everyone's doing alright and all. Pretty sunny day out so definitely gonna have to take advantage of the weather and take a hike or two, never a bad idea with things heating up! Speaking of, seems things may be heating up on our end too so let's check things out.
☀️ Currently XRP's at $1.39 after stalling again at $1.45 before failing the retest and being pulled down afterwards with the selling pressure and orders that hit.
☀️ Derivatives Cleanup: Overleveraged positions from 2025 have been largely flushed out, reducing open interest and leading to a "cleaner" market structure, which is considered a bullish long-term sign as we won't have as much pressure from these positions which definitely influences prices a lot.
☀️ Technical Resistance: Strong overhead resistance exists around $1.44-$1.55, which must be cleared to initiate a broader recovery as we continue within this horizontal channel which I've been chatting on the last few ideas.
☀️ Ledger Growth vs. Price: While the XRP Ledger (XRPL) is seeing record activity (2.7M+ daily transactions) and increased RLUSD stablecoin usage, this fundamental success has not yet translated into a major price surge, leading to a gap between utility and token value.
☀️ Short-Term: If $1.39 holds, another retest and move toward $1.50 is possible. But if it fails, we may end up falling back again retesting $1.34–$1.37 before we'd get another shot.
☀️ Important to Note: Around 1.85 billion XRP worth $2.83 billion was bought between $1.76 and $1.80, and those holders have been underwater since January, creating one of the heaviest single resistance clusters on the chart. This is a huge drivers in why we're facing so much resistance here along with Bitcoin for holders close to that $75,000 level so that's making it hard to break as many take profits out of fear or exiting leveraged positions.
☀️ Negative Drivers: The price is impacted by "break-even" selling pressure from holders who bought at higher prices, and mixed sentiment from slow U.S. ETF inflows as markets remain cautious this week with global tensions continuing.
☀️ XRP sits below all four major EMAs at $1.46, $1.64, $1.85, and $2.08, and ETF inflows would need to recover from current outflows to at least $250 million per month to generate enough buying pressure to break the $1.76 wall, that and less selling pressure from investors that have already been holding onto their positions and in the negative the last few months.
☀️ As always appreciate everybody and have a great day, go out and make the most of things. Every day is another chance and opportunity.
Best regards,
