THORChain Restores Swaps on 11 Chains After Upgrade, 14 Active Nodes Yet to Update

Following its 3.21.1 upgrade, THORChain restored swaps involving AVAX, Base, BCH, BTC, DOGE, ETH, LTC, RUNE, TRON, XRPL, and ZEC. According to Foresight News, swaps involving ATOM, BSC, and SOL remain paused.

Fourteen active nodes have yet to upgrade. THORChain says all active nodes must update to version 3.21.1 to address swap performance issues. The upgrade also brings the network closer to supporting Monero.

THORChain paused swaps on multiple chains on October 31 after an Ethereum block reorganization led it to pay out 10 ETH that the treasury had not received. Users later returned the 10 ETH, restoring the treasury’s solvency.
