VolaSync V2.5 - Session Trend Regime
VolaSync is a trend-regime and session-context indicator designed for discretionary intraday trading on standard candlestick charts.
Its purpose is to simplify one specific part of the trading process: confirming when short-term momentum and directional conditions have transitioned from one market regime to another.
VolaSync is not designed to automatically identify liquidity sweeps, market structure breaks, or complete trading setups. Those elements remain part of the trader's discretionary market analysis.
How it works
VolaSync combines three components:
Momentum analysis based on RSI and Money Flow Index.
Short-term directional confirmation using an EMA.
A persistent bullish/bearish regime engine.
The momentum engine uses internally generated Heikin Ashi data as a smoothing mechanism, while the trader can continue working on a standard candlestick chart.
This separation allows traders to analyze real market price structure while using the smoother internal engine for directional confirmation.
Market regimes
The indicator maintains one of two directional regimes after confirmation:
Bullish regime
Momentum strength and short-term direction are aligned to the upside.
Bearish regime
Momentum strength and short-term direction are aligned to the downside.
The regime does not reverse because of every small counter-move. It remains active until the complete opposite condition is confirmed.
This persistent-state behavior is intended to reduce unnecessary directional changes during minor price fluctuations.
VolaSync Trend Line
The colored VolaSync line provides a simple visual representation of the active regime.
Green: bullish regime.
Red: bearish regime.
The line uses volatility and range-based calculations to remain separated from price and provide directional context.
It is not intended to be used as an automatic stop-loss level.
Transition markers
VolaSync plots minimalist markers when a confirmed regime change occurs:
▲ Bullish transition
▼ Bearish transition
These markers represent a change in the VolaSync regime, not an automatic instruction to enter a trade.
The intended discretionary workflow is:
Market context → liquidity/structure analysis → VolaSync regime confirmation → trade decision
Session context
VolaSync includes visual session ranges for:
Asia
London
New York AM
New York PM
Historical session ranges can also remain visible to provide additional intraday context and reference levels.
Session boxes are visual context only. They do not independently generate VolaSync signals.
Recommended chart
VolaSync is designed primarily for use on standard candlestick charts.
The internal Heikin Ashi calculation is used only by the directional engine. The visible candles can remain standard market candles so traders can analyze actual price highs, lows, closes, liquidity and structure.
Suggested use
VolaSync is intended to act as a confirmation tool rather than a complete mechanical trading system.
A trader may, for example:
Identify an important liquidity or market-structure area.
Wait for price interaction or liquidity capture.
Evaluate the resulting price structure.
Wait for VolaSync to confirm a directional regime transition.
Apply their own entry, stop-loss and risk-management rules.
VolaSync does not automatically determine whether a liquidity event or market structure setup is valid.
Limitations
VolaSync does not predict future prices and does not guarantee profitable trades.
Regime transitions can occur during ranging or volatile market conditions and should not be interpreted as standalone trade recommendations.
Money Flow Index calculations depend on the volume data supplied by the selected symbol and data provider, so readings may vary between instruments or feeds.
Heikin Ashi values used internally are synthetic values used for smoothing and confirmation; they are not executable market prices.
Traders should use standard price data for execution, stop placement and market-structure analysis.
Signals are designed to be confirmed on closed bars and the indicator does not intentionally use future-looking data to generate historical regime transitions.
Originality and purpose
VolaSync combines a persistent momentum regime engine, internal Heikin Ashi processing, directional EMA confirmation, volatility-based trend visualization and multi-session context into one discretionary trading workflow.
The purpose of the combination is not to create additional signals, but to separate two tasks:
real-price market analysis and smoothed directional confirmation.
This makes VolaSync useful for traders who prefer to perform their own liquidity and structure analysis while using an objective regime change as confirmation.

Parts of the original development process were inspired by publicly available momentum/trend concepts and the open-source RMI Trend Sniper by TZack88.
VolaSync expands the concept with its own persistent-state workflow, internal Heikin Ashi data architecture, standard-candle execution approach, session context and visual regime framework.
