Dual COF (4H + 45m)
This indicator identifies and displays the active Candle of Focus (COF) levels from two timeframes: a higher timeframe, set by default to 4H, and a lower timeframe, set by default to 45 minutes. Instead of drawing rectangular boxes, the indicator draws horizontal rays from the high, low, and optional midpoint of the current active COF candle.
• The 4H COF rays are thicker by default so they stand out as higher-timeframe context.
• The 45m COF rays are thinner by default so they can be used as execution or entry-context levels.
• Only the current active COF for each selected timeframe is displayed. When price closes beyond the active COF high or low, the old rays are deleted and new rays are created from the next COF candle.

The indicator treats the COF range as a dealing range, with the 50% midpoint dividing premium and discount. A bullish COF is based on a COF candle closing at or above its open, while a bearish COF is based on a candle closing below its open.Main features
- 4H and 45m COF detection: Tracks the active higher-timeframe and lower-timeframe COFs simultaneously.
- COF High, Low and 50%: Draws horizontal rays for the current COF high, low and midpoint, with adjustable colours and line widths.
- New COF alerts: Alerts only when the active COF genuinely changes because a completed candle closes outside the existing range.
- Directional entry zones: A bearish COF monitors the 70% premium area, while a bullish COF monitors the 30% discount area.
- Return-to-zone logic: Price can be required to first move away from the entry level before a return to 70%/30% is treated as a valid entry-zone interaction.
- Entry-zone alerts: Notifies you when price reaches the relevant area of interest so you can begin monitoring the setup.
- Confirmation timeframe: Uses a configurable confirmation timeframe, default 15 minutes.
- Closure confirmation: After price reaches the entry zone, the indicator waits for a confirmation candle to close inside the active COF range.
- Momentum confirmation: After that close, price must move a configurable number of points/ticks in the expected direction before the final trade-entry alert is triggered.
- BUY/SELL alerts: Bullish confirmation produces a BUY alert; bearish confirmation produces a SELL alert.
- Temporary trade labels: BUY or SELL labels appear on the chart for approximately 30 seconds when a final entry condition is met.
- Individual alert controls: 4H and 45m New COF, Entry Zone and Trade Entry alerts can each be enabled or disabled separately.
