Q Squeeze Momentum

Q Squeeze Momentum

Markets move in phases.
Before strong moves begin, price often goes through a period of compression where volatility becomes very low. Eventually that pressure releases and price begins to move with momentum.
Q Squeeze Momentum helps traders visualize that process in a clear and intuitive way.
The indicator combines volatility compression, momentum behavior, and trend direction into a single visual framework that is easy to interpret even for newer traders.

What the Indicator Shows
The indicator focuses on three key elements of price behavior:
• Momentum
• Trend direction
• Volatility compression
Together they provide context for understanding when the market is quiet, when momentum is building, and when conditions start to align.

Momentum Histogram
The histogram shows how momentum is evolving over time.
Color interpretation:
• Aqua → bullish momentum strengthening
• Teal → bullish momentum slowing down
• Orange → bearish momentum strengthening
• Red → bearish momentum slowing down
This allows traders to quickly see whether buyers or sellers are gaining or losing pressure.

Trend Context
The background color reflects the broader directional environment.
Green background → Uptrend
Red background → Downtrend
This helps traders interpret momentum within the context of the overall trend rather than viewing it in isolation.

Volatility Compression (Squeeze)
Dots along the zero line highlight periods of volatility compression.
When volatility contracts, the market is often building energy before the next expansion phase. These areas can help traders recognize moments when price activity may soon increase.

Entry Markers
Triangles appear when several conditions align:
• The market exits a volatility squeeze
• Momentum begins expanding
• The trend supports the direction
Green triangle → potential bullish momentum shift
Red triangle → potential bearish momentum shift
These markers highlight moments when market conditions begin to align and momentum may start to build.

Status Table
The table in the corner provides a quick overview of current market conditions:
Momentum → current momentum state
Trend → current directional bias
This allows traders to quickly understand the market environment without interpreting every element of the indicator.

How Traders Use It
Traders often use this type of structure to:
• identify momentum expansion after volatility compression
• confirm trend continuation
• filter trade setups
• recognize shifts in market pressure
The indicator is designed to support market analysis, not replace it.

Important
This script is a visual analysis tool intended to help traders better understand market conditions.
It does not predict future price movement and should not be used as a standalone trading system.
Always combine it with your own analysis and proper risk management.
