Clear Street nails the workflow. The TradingView connection is frictionless with zero latency on executions, clean developer APIs, and Omni AI makes pulling context effortless without cluttering the screen.
i use clear street as my primary platform on tradingview, it has been super fast and reliable being able to switch to their UI and use the AI integration there is a win too
Clear Street has become my go-to broker for active trading. The TradingView integration is seamless: fills show up in real time, no re-authentication headaches, and I never have to leave the chart to check positions or account info. Execution speed is genuinely fast, which matters when you're trading in volatile conditions. What sets them apart is Omni. I use it to pull up risk on a position, scan for ideas, and place orders all in one conversation. It actually understands market context rather than just answering generic questions. The API is solid too. It's well-documented and reliable for anyone running automated strategies. Options and margin work well, shorting is straightforward, and the platform clearly was built with traders in mind rather than retrofitted from a retail app. Support has been responsive the few times I've needed it. Highly recommend for anyone serious about trading.
Awesome platform! I love the various features they support - Omni AI for coming up with trade ideas, APIs for algorithmic trading, equities and option trading, margin and shorting capabilities, and amazing web and mobile user interface.
I've got accounts at Robinhood, Fidelity, and IBKR. Clear Street's the best by far. Institutional-grade tools and lightning-fast execution; you can trade from web, mobile, desktop, TradingView, or API from one platform. Omni's the real differentiator though. Instead of bouncing between research, portfolio tracking, and placing orders, I can ask about a stock or my portfolio, see the risk instantly, and execute it all in one flow. Built for active traders, not just some generic chatbot.
Great broker with a well-designed API and extremely fast executions. The TradingView integration is also seamless, everything happens in real time, no auth issues, and all the relevant account info is exposed, no need to jump back and forth between the Clear Street UI and TradingView.
Newer player in the market but a great broker, has everything I need with options and stock support and the execution speeds are second to none
Execution is fast, the TradingView integration feels seamless, and fills appear in real time. Omni makes research quicker by combining AI with useful market context, while the API and MCP support are great for automated workflows. The responsive support team rounds out a modern, well-designed trading experience.
Loving the speed and sophistication of Clear Street's new platform and this integration. In volatile markets I need the fastest, most reliable broker possible and this has proven to be the leader. Omni AI feature is the best trading bot I have tried. Thanks for adding!
Hands down one of the best setups for active traders. The execution speed is extremely fast, and the AI (Omni) features make research so easy. You can tell this platform was actually built with active traders in mind. 5 stars.
A great US equities broker, supporting US options, with great execution speed & excellent support for fundamental analysis - offering Omni (AI) on top of that which works efficiently on top of the rich contextual data.

Frequently asked questions

Brokers provide access to financial markets and execute trades. They act as intermediaries between traders and exchanges, providing the necessary infrastructure and tools to place buy and sell orders. They offer services such as order execution, market access, research, analysis, and customer support. Additionally, brokers facilitate the use of leverage, margin trading, and help ensure regulatory compliance, providing traders with a secure environment to trade effectively. Without brokers, individual traders would struggle to access markets and execute trades efficiently.
An order is an instruction for a broker to execute a trade - buy or sell an asset on behalf of a trader. Depending on your strategy, risk tolerance, and market condition, different kinds of orders can be more or less effective, let's see the basic ones.
- Market order. It's a basic type designed to buy or sell an asset immediately at the next price available
- Limit order. Specifies the maximum (for buying) or minimum (for selling) price at which a trader is willing to execute a trade. It's only executed if the price reaches the preset level. There are buy and sell limit orders - they're set to buy/sell an asset at or below/above a certain price
- Stop order. Triggered when an asset moves above or below a certain price level, always executed in the direction that the price is moving. There are stop-loss orders (automatically closes a position at a certain level if the market moves against you) and (initiates a trade when the price breaks a certain level)

Leverage is a mechanism that allows traders to open larger positions with a smaller amount of capital. It basically means borrowing funds from a broker, often multiplying your position size by 5x, 10x, or more. For example, with 5x leverage, a $100 deposit could open a $500 trade with your broker lending you $400 you don't have. It's a popular technique, but remember that while leverage increases potential profits, it also magnifies losses, which is why it's essential to learn how to manage risks.

It's always worth preparing for trades before actually executing them. On TradingView, you can do this with our Paper Trading functionality.
Margin trading means an investor buying an asset by borrowing the balance from a broker. It allows traders to increase their buying power, enabling larger positions with less upfront capital. While it can provide greater market exposure with less capital and amplify potential gains, it also comes with increased risks:
- Increased risk of losses, including exceeding initial investment
- Interest costs on borrowed funds
- Potential for margin calls requiring additional deposits
Make sure to analyze an asset thoroughly and test your strategy on a Paper Trading account to ensure you're ready to navigate these risks.
Commissions in trading are fees that brokers charge for executing trades on behalf of traders. These costs help brokers maintain their platforms, provide essential services, and ensure smooth access to financial markets.

Understanding commission structures is essential for traders, as fees can impact overall profitability. Choosing a broker with competitive rates and transparent pricing ensures cost-effective trading.
