มาดู Underlying commodity อย่าง Natural gas หลังจากที่บ้านปูทำสัญญาซื้อเหมืองแก๊สบาร์เนตต์ และเริ่มรับรู้กำไรจากเหมืองตั้งแต่ กันยายน
จากข่าวเมื่อสัปดาห์ก่อน CEO ได้บอกว่ามีกำไรเข้ามาแล้ว 89 ล้าน USD.
เมื่ออ้างอิงยาก opp day ที่ได้มีการบอกว่าต้นทุน gas ของบ้านปูคือ 1.6 USD/ millionBTU และทุก 10 cents ของราคา gas ที่เพิ่มขึ้น บ้านปูจะกำไร 10ล้าน usd
เมื่อพิจารณาจากราคาต้นทุน และราคา gas รวมถึงข่าวที่ออกมา น่าเชื่อว่าจะมีกำไรเกิดขึ้นจริง
ตอนนี้ราคา NatGas ได้ breakout ขึ้นมาแล้ว
เมื่อพิจารณาจาก seasonality ของ NatGas จะเห็นว่า ราคาแก๊สมักจะทำจุดสูงสุดในเดือน ธันวาคม-มกราคม
หากทุกอย่างเป็นไปตามที่ BANPU วางแผนไว้ เชื่อว่าใน Q4 น่าจะมีกำไรเข้ามามาก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ถ้า NatGas มี breakout to the upside
