A Time-Driven Perspective on Bitcoin Cycles

167
Hi everyone,

This has been one of the most pessimistic and uncertain periods I’ve experienced since I entered the crypto space at the end of 2017. Unfortunately, I’ve been wrong in many of my recent analyses—especially on altcoins. I’ve lost a significant amount of money, but more importantly, time and mental energy. It happens. I’m still here, learning, adapting, and trying to look at the market from different perspectives.

Here’s my updated vision.

Using AI, I applied a Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) to BTC price time series to identify short-, mid-, and long-term cycles. Based on the most recent data, the model suggests that we may currently be in a lengthening cycle, likely containing multiple mid-term sub-cycles.

According to this analysis:
• We may have already seen the local bottom—or be very close to it.
• A local top could form around April/May, likely not an ATH.
• August may present a strong accumulation opportunity before a rally lasting into the end of the year.
• This rally would likely not be the final one and could extend into 2027.
• The model points to a final major move around mid-2027, where the real altcoin rally may occur—rather than at the end of 2026, as many expect.

I respect market cycles and timing. Understanding them helps me know when to be cautious and when to be brave.

Please note: The prices shown on the chart are for visual representation only. This analysis is time-focused, not price-focused. The price levels are used solely to illustrate the structure and shape of the movement.

Hope you find this perspective useful.

Cheers
