📊 BTCUSDT 15M — Previous Day POC Reclaim Long Setup
Entry: 83,874
Stop Loss: 83,326
Target: 85,320
Risk/Reward: ~1 : 2.64
🔍 Trade Logic
For this setup, I started with the previous day’s Volume Profile and POC as my primary reference level.
The idea was not to blindly buy at the POC. I wanted to see how price behaved around this high-volume area.
1️⃣ Previous Day POC as the key reference
The previous session’s POC was carried forward into today’s chart.
Price initially traded below/around the value area and then gradually started moving back toward the POC.
2️⃣ POC reclaim
BTC eventually reclaimed the POC and started showing acceptance above the level.
Instead of entering during the initial move, I waited for the market to establish itself above the reference level.
3️⃣ Bullish confirmation
After the reclaim, price formed a bullish intraday structure and continued making higher highs/higher lows.
This gave me the confirmation I was looking for:
POC → Reclaim → Acceptance → Bullish structure
4️⃣ Entry
I took the long at:
83,874
The stop was placed below the recent structure/liquidity area:
SL: 83,326
The idea is invalidated if price loses this area and gets accepted back below it.
5️⃣ Target
My target was:
85,320
This gives approximately 1:2.64 R:R, so I don’t need a very high win rate if the setup is executed consistently.
🧠 The Core Idea
I don’t treat POC as an automatic buy/sell signal.
For me, POC is a location.
The actual trade comes from the reaction:
Previous Day POC
↓
Price returns to POC
↓
Reclaim & acceptance
↓
Bullish structure confirmation
↓
Long @ 83,874
↓
Target 85,320
The main lesson from this setup:
POC tells me where to look. Price action tells me when to enter.
Let’s see how this setup plays out. 📈
