Tata Steel appears to have completed its recent correction near ₹185 and is showing early signs of a trend reversal.
Technical View
Strong support established at ₹185.
Price has reclaimed the daily pivot and is trading above ₹190.
Immediate resistance lies near ₹193.
A sustained move above ₹193 could open the path toward ₹198–205.
Fundamentals
FY26 earnings show a strong turnaround.
Net profit surged to ₹10,886 Cr from ₹3,174 Cr.
Operating margin improved from 12% to 15%.
Healthy institutional participation with DIIs at 26.85% and FIIs at 19.05%.
Dividend yield stands at 2.13%.
My View
The downside appears limited as long as ₹185 holds. Rather than waiting for a deeper pullback, the current setup offers a favorable risk-to-reward opportunity.
Trading Plan
Buy: Around current levels (₹190–191)
Stop Loss: ₹185
Targets: ₹198 → ₹205 → ₹212
The recovery has begun. The invalidation level is clearly defined at ₹185, making this a disciplined swing trade with attractive upside potential.
