XAUUSD M30 – Short Bias (Educational Setup)

185
The market has recently formed a strong bullish expansion, breaking previous structure (BOS) and taking liquidity above prior highs. Following this move, price is now showing signs of slowing momentum near a premium zone.

After the liquidity sweep, price failed to continue aggressively higher, indicating a possible shift toward short-term distribution.

Market Context
Bullish structure remains intact on higher timeframe
Price currently trading in a premium area
Recent impulse created a clear imbalance (FVG) below
Internal structure shows potential weakness
Short Scenario (Conditional)

A short idea can be considered only if confirmation forms on lower timeframes:

Lower timeframe Change of Character (CHoCH)
Bearish displacement or strong rejection
Failure to make new highs

If these confirmations appear, price may rotate lower toward the imbalance zone.

Draw on Liquidity
Price may seek inefficiency (FVG) below
Possible reaction from the marked M30 demand/OB zone
Invalidation
Strong continuation above the recent high
Acceptance above premium zone
Risk Approach
Wait for confirmation (no early entries)
Use proper risk management (e.g., ≤1%)
Focus on reaction, not prediction
Summary

This is a probability-based idea, not a signal. The concept is based on premium pricing, liquidity sweep, and potential retracement into imbalance. Execution depends entirely on confirmation.
