I know most people are still looking for upside here… but that’s exactly why I’m not.
That 4,780–4,800 zone isn’t support, it’s a trap. Price tapped the FVG multiple times and failed to expand. Instead of continuation, we’re seeing compression and weak highs. That’s distribution in premium, not strength.
My bias is selling, clean and simple. As long as we stay below 4,800, I’m treating every push up as a sell opportunity.
The main zone is that FVG at 4,780–4,800. That’s where buyers got stuck and where smart money is likely offloading. If price comes back into that area and shows hesitation, I’m looking for continuation down.
Liquidity is obvious. There’s a cluster of equal lows below, and price hasn’t taken them yet. That’s unfinished business. Add the ascending trendline around 4,710–4,720 and you’ve got a clean draw.
Target is 4,710–4,720. That’s where I expect the move to complete, at least for now.
Invalidation is non-negotiable. If price reclaims 4,805–4,820 and holds, then I’m wrong. That would break the current lower high structure and shift momentum.
Until then, I’m not buying this.
Are you still buying the “support”… or seeing the trap now?

I Was Short Below 4,800… NY Session Proved Me Wrong
I was leaning bearish under 4,800, but the NY session completely changed the picture.
Price didn’t reject the zone like I expected. Instead, it reclaimed and held above 4,820 with strong momentum. That was the key level for my invalidation, and once it broke clean, the short idea was off the table. The FVG I marked as supply basically turned into a trap once price accepted above it.
This kind of move usually means liquidity got taken on the short side, and now price is using that fuel to push higher. What looked like distribution quickly shifted into continuation once the level flipped.
At this point, I’m no longer interested in selling. As long as price holds above the 4,800 to 4,820 area, the structure favors further upside rather than a pullback.
This is a good reminder that being wrong isn’t the issue. Staying wrong is.
Do you see this as a clean breakout from NY session strength, or just a liquidity grab before another move?

Caught the Pullback Selling/Shorting from 4,880 → +530 Pips TP Hit
After the NY breakout above 4,820, I shifted bias and waited for price to show its hand… and it did.
Price pushed into the 4,880 area, tapped into premium and started losing momentum. Instead of chasing the breakout, I waited for the pullback setup, and that’s where the clean entry came in.
This was a classic scenario. Initial breakout trapped shorts, then price moved into premium, formed a lower high, and started distributing. Once structure shifted on lower timeframe, the sell made sense.
Entry came from the 4,870–4,880 zone, targeting the liquidity below. Price respected the idea perfectly and sold off straight into 4,830 area.
Full TP hit for +530 pips.
This is why I don’t marry a bias. First setup got invalidated, then the market gave a better one. Same chart, different read.
Clean move, clean execution.
Did you catch the pullback… or were you still stuck on the breakout?
