# CVD Ultimate MG – Cumulative Volume Delta, EMA, VWAP & Vol-OWI
**Understand buying and selling pressure. Track volume flow. Identify potential intraday strength and weakness.**
CVD Ultimate MG is a volume-analysis indicator designed to help traders study buying and selling pressure through Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD), session-based CVD moving averages, CVD VWAP, and an optional volume-based order-flow visualization (Vol-OWI).
The indicator combines multiple volume-analysis tools into one customizable setup, helping traders evaluate market participation, monitor intraday volume dynamics, and develop a better understanding of potential bullish and bearish conditions.
## 🚀 KEY FEATURES
### 1. Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD)
- Visualizes estimated buying and selling pressure through CVD candles.
- Green candles represent rising delta; red candles represent falling delta.
- Customizable anchor period, including daily and other supported timeframes.
- Choose between Time-based aggregation and 1 Tick aggregation where supported by your TradingView plan and available data.
- Optional custom lower timeframe for greater control over delta calculation.
### 2. CVD EMA – Session-Based Momentum
- Includes a customizable CVD EMA.
- Adjustable EMA length and line color.
- Resets at the beginning of each daily session.
- Helps assess the direction and momentum of CVD relative to its session-based average.
### 3. CVD VWAP – Volume-Weighted CVD Analysis
- Separate CVD VWAP line for additional volume-flow analysis.
- Customizable line color.
- Resets with the start of a new daily session.
- Can be used alongside CVD candles and CVD EMA to study changes in volume pressure.
### 4. First 5-Minute CVD Session Level – NSE India
- Designed to identify the CVD level of the first 5-minute candle of the Indian trading session.
- Displays a **green horizontal level** when the first candle meets the defined bullish CVD conditions.
- Displays a **red horizontal level** when the first candle meets the defined bearish CVD conditions.
- Extends the level through the remaining Indian market session.
- Customizable bullish and bearish colors and line width.
This feature is designed for traders who want to monitor the initial session's volume-delta conditions throughout the trading day.
### 5. Optional Vol-OWI – Volume Distribution Visualization
- Displays estimated buy-side and sell-side volume columns.
- Green columns represent estimated buying volume.
- Red columns represent estimated selling volume.
- Includes an optional volume moving average.
- Can be enabled or disabled independently of the CVD display.
**Note:** The Vol-OWI component estimates buying and selling volume from the candle's closing position within its high-low range. It is not exchange-reported bid/ask volume or true order-book data.
### 6. Flexible Customization
- Independently enable or disable CVD and Vol-OWI.
- Customize the CVD anchor period.
- Select the data aggregation method and lower timeframe.
- Adjust CVD EMA length and color.
- Customize CVD VWAP color.
- Configure the first 5-minute CVD level's visibility, colors, and line width.
- Adapt the indicator to different charting and volume-analysis preferences.
## 📊 HOW TRADERS CAN USE IT
**Bullish volume analysis**
- Observe rising CVD candles and positive delta.
- Compare CVD with its session EMA and VWAP.
- Monitor whether the first 5-minute CVD level reflects bullish conditions.
**Bearish volume analysis**
- Observe falling CVD candles and negative delta.
- Compare CVD with its session EMA and VWAP.
- Monitor whether the first 5-minute CVD level reflects bearish conditions.
**Volume confirmation**
- Use Vol-OWI to examine the estimated distribution of volume within each candle.
- Compare volume behavior with price action to study potential confirmation or divergence.
These observations can support a broader trading process, but they should not be treated as standalone buy or sell signals.
## ⚙️ SUGGESTED APPLICATION
CVD Ultimate MG can be explored for:
- Intraday trading
- Momentum analysis
- Breakout and breakdown evaluation
- Volume-flow confirmation
- Price-volume divergence analysis
- NSE cash and derivatives market analysis, where suitable volume data is available
## ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
CVD calculations depend on the available lower-timeframe or tick data and the selected aggregation settings. Time-based calculations estimate buying and selling pressure and may differ from true bid/ask trade classification.
The CVD EMA and CVD VWAP are calculated from the indicator's CVD output and should not be interpreted as conventional price EMA or price VWAP.
The first 5-minute CVD session-level feature is specifically designed around the Indian market session (Asia/Kolkata timezone) and operates on a 5-minute chart.
Vol-OWI uses candle-based volume estimates rather than actual exchange-reported order-flow data.
This indicator is an analytical tool, not a guaranteed trading system. It does not guarantee profitability and should be used alongside price action, risk management, and independent analysis.
