FVG Tracker [Forex]

660
FVG Tracker [Forex] detects fair value gaps (imbalances) on the chart timeframe and on a higher timeframe, tracks how much of each gap has been filled, turns broken gaps into inverse FVGs and keeps the chart clean by only drawing the gaps that are closest to price.

WHAT IS AN FVG?
A bullish fair value gap appears when the low of a candle is above the high of the candle two bars earlier, leaving a price area that was skipped during a strong move. A bearish FVG is the opposite. These gaps are often revisited and are widely used as areas of interest.

KEY FEATURES
- Chart timeframe and higher timeframe FVGs (default 15m) on the same chart. Higher timeframe gaps are drawn with a thicker border. When gaps overlap, only the higher timeframe one is kept.
- Adaptive minimum size: gaps smaller than a fraction of the ATR (default 0.3) or a minimum pip size are ignored, so the filter adapts automatically to each pair and timeframe. JPY pairs are handled correctly.
- Optional displacement filter: keep only gaps whose middle candle body is at least X times the ATR.
- Fill tracking: the box shrinks as price fills the gap and the label shows the filled percentage. Gaps are removed once they are filled (100% by default, adjustable, e.g. 50% for the consequent encroachment level).
- Inverse FVGs (iFVG): when a gap is broken (by a close or a wick, selectable), it flips its role and is kept as a dashed zone: a broken bullish FVG becomes resistance, a broken bearish FVG becomes support. It is removed when it is broken again or filled.
- Clean chart mode: only the nearest N gaps above and below price are drawn (default 3 per side). Other gaps are kept in memory and appear when price approaches them.
- Optional 50% line (consequent encroachment).

NO REPAINTING
Chart timeframe gaps are confirmed on candle close. Higher timeframe gaps are taken from the last closed higher timeframe candle.

ALERTS
- New bullish / bearish FVG
- Price entered a support / resistance FVG
- Inverse FVG formed

HOW TO USE
Use the gaps as areas of interest, ideally in the direction of the higher timeframe trend and together with other confluence such as order blocks or a rejection candle. Not every gap gets respected, so always manage risk.
