MK Levels: Day, Overnight, ORB and POC Levels

303
MK Levels draws the reference levels many futures day traders mark by hand each morning, so they are on the chart automatically and stay consistent from day to day.

What makes it different
Most level scripts draw one family of levels and leave every past day on the chart. MK Levels puts the levels intraday futures traders use most (prior day, overnight, opening range, prior-day POC, prior week, prior month and all-time high) in one script, draws them for the current trading day only, and merges labels that sit close together so none are hidden. The POC is built from the chart's own bars, so it needs no separate volume profile tool.

What it plots
• PDH / PDL: the high and low of the prior regular session (09:30–16:00 New York time).
• ONH / ONL: the high and low of the overnight session (18:00–09:30 New York time). These update live during the night and are fixed at 09:30.
• ORH / ORL: the high and low of the opening range, the first 15 or 30 minutes after the 09:30 open (you choose). They build during the range, stay fixed for the rest of the session, and clear at 16:00.
• POC: the point of control of the prior regular session, meaning the price row where the most volume traded.
• PWH / PWL: the prior week's high and low.
• PMH / PML: the prior month's high and low.
• ATH: the symbol's all-time high, updated live if price makes a new one.

Lines are drawn for the current trading day only (from the 18:00 New York open), so the chart stays clean and older days don't pile up. Each level has a price label on the right edge, and levels that sit close together share one label so none are hidden.

How the POC is calculated
The script builds a simple volume profile from the chart's own bars. Each bar's volume is placed at its HL2 price and grouped into rows of N ticks (the "POC row size" input). The row with the most volume becomes the POC once the session closes. Because it uses bar data rather than tick data, it is an approximation: a 1- to 5-minute chart gives a closer result than a 30- or 60-minute chart. A row size of about 4 ticks suits ES and NQ, and about 2 ticks suits GC.

Settings
To change them, double-click the "MK Levels" name at the top left of your chart (or hover it and click the gear icon). Every setting has an (i) you can hover for a short explanation, and Defaults > Reset settings puts everything back.
• Turn each level group on or off.
• Opening range length: 15 or 30 minutes. Use a chart timeframe no longer than the range you pick.
• POC row size in ticks.
• Colors, line width, and price labels on the right edge of the chart.

Alerts
Twelve alert conditions: price crossing the prior-day, overnight, opening range, prior week or prior month high or low, crossing the prior-day POC, or making a new all-time high (opening range alerts start once the range is complete).

Limitations
• Built for futures. The daily, overnight, opening range and POC levels need an intraday chart of 60 minutes or less; the weekly, monthly and all-time high levels work on any timeframe. Session times are in New York time regardless of your chart's time zone setting.
• Every level comes from bars that have already closed. Nothing repaints and no future data is used.
• Days with an early close or no regular session (holidays) can produce shorter or skipped levels.
