olume Heatmap - Institutional Flow Detector
Overview
The Volume Heatmap - Institutional Flow Detector is a high-precision technical analysis tool designed to identify and visualize institutional activity through relative volume analysis. Unlike traditional indicators that use static averages, this script uses a dynamic "Daily Minimum Volume" baseline to create a real-time sensitivity scale for the current trading session.
Key Features
Adaptive 4-Level Heatmap: Automatically colors candlesticks based on volume multiples relative to the day's lowest point.
Institutional "Climax" Detection: Highlights bars with massive volume (e.g., 6x the daily minimum) to pinpoint potential absorption zones and price exhaustion.
Dynamic Extreme Labels: Automatically plots "MAX VOL" and "MIN VOL" labels on the chart once the candle closes to ensure data validity.
Precision Dashboard: Features a customizable HUD (Heads-Up Display) showing the exact value, date, and time (Brazil UTC-3) of the daily volume extremes.
Zero Repaint Logic: All calculations for labels and records are processed only upon bar confirmation (barstate.isconfirmed) to prevent false signals during active price oscillation.
Technical Rule-Set
Level 1 (Base): Low activity, filtered with high transparency.
Level 2 (Activity): Confirmed increase in participation (Default: 2x the minimum).
Level 3 (Professional): Strong institutional presence (Default: 4x the minimum).
Level 4 (Climax): Maximum effort/result, shown with 100% opacity (Default: 6x the minimum).
Customization
The user has full control over the multipliers and opacity percentages for each level, allowing for seamless adaptation to different assets (Forex, Stocks, Crypto) and timeframes.
