Gold Basis Indicator วัดส่วนต่างระหว่างราคา Gold Futures (GOLD.F) กับราคา Spot Gold (XAUUSD) แล้วแสดงผลในหน้าต่างแยกคล้าย RSI
Basis เป็นบวก (เขียว) = Contango — ตลาด Futures ซื้อขายแพงกว่า Spot ซึ่งเป็นสภาวะปกติ สะท้อนต้นทุนการถือครอง (carry cost) อย่างดอกเบี้ยและค่าเก็บรักษา
Basis เป็นลบ (แดง) = Backwardation — Futures ถูกกว่า Spot เป็นสัญญาณว่าตลาดมีความต้องการ Spot สูงผิดปกติ หรือมีความกังวลเรื่อง supply ระยะสั้น
Basis แคบลง = Futures กับ Spot เริ่มบรรจบกัน มักเกิดใกล้วัน expiry หรือตลาดเข้าสู่สมดุล
Basis กว้างขึ้นผิดปกติ = อาจมีโอกาส arbitrage หรือบ่งบอกว่า sentiment ตลาดกำลังเปลี่ยน
เหมาะสำหรับเทรดเดอร์ที่ต้องการจับจังหวะ convergence/divergence ระหว่าง Futures กับ Spot หรือใช้ประกอบการตัดสินใจเปิด/ปิดสถานะทองคำ
