Market Structure Break & Retest

Market Structure Break & Retest
A structure break does not automatically mean continuation.
This indicator is designed to help traders observe what happens after a market breaks a previous swing level.
The concept is simple:
Break → Retest → Reaction
A broken resistance that continues to hold can become a confirmation of bullish structure.
A broken support that continues to hold as resistance can provide evidence of bearish continuation.
On the other hand, if price quickly reclaims the broken structure, the initial breakout or breakdown may have failed.
How to use it
Use the structure breaks as areas of interest rather than automatic trade signals.
Pay particular attention to the subsequent retest.
A successful retest can provide additional evidence that the market is accepting the new structure.
A failed retest can indicate that the initial displacement may not have established a sustained structural change.
This script does not predict market direction.
It is a visual framework for studying how price behaves after a structural break.
Important
No single structure signal should be treated as a standalone trading system.
Market context, volatility, timeframe, and risk management remain important.
