Probability Liquidity Profile - Hitz2kk
Probability Liquidity Profile is a dynamic liquidity mapping tool that estimates where price is most likely to be drawn based on recent volume concentration across the active price range.
Instead of using a standard fixed support/resistance approach, this script builds a probability-weighted distribution from recent traded volume by dividing the lookback range into price bins and measuring how much volume was accepted at each level. These bins are then converted into a liquidity profile displayed directly on the chart.
The script highlights:
liquidity concentration above current price
liquidity concentration below current price
peak liquidity zones with individual probability percentages
outer distribution areas using optional 10% and 90% quantile markers
High-probability liquidity levels are detected from local peaks in the profile. When price trades through one of these levels, that zone is treated as consumed and is removed from future plotting. This helps the chart reflect changing liquidity conditions instead of leaving static levels behind.
How it works:
A configurable lookback range is scanned
Price is divided into bins
Volume is accumulated into those bins using a selected source price
Bin volume is normalised into probabilities
Local probability peaks are marked as candidate liquidity zones
Zones are removed after price trades through them
This makes the script useful for:
identifying likely liquidity targets
spotting high-interest volume nodes
mapping possible draw-on-liquidity areas
visualising changing market acceptance above and below price
Main settings:
Lookback Bars: controls how much recent data is analysed
Price Bins: controls profile resolution
Minimum Peak Probability: filters weaker zones
Zone Width: expands probability from a single peak into a broader liquidity zone
Quantile Lines: shows outer probability boundaries
This tool is intended for traders who want a visual way to track likely liquidity attraction zones and changing high-volume price acceptance in real time.
