ABC Pattern Scanner

584
Tracking ABC pattern setups by hand means flipping through chart after chart. The cleanest entry usually forms on the symbol you weren't watching. This scanner ends that. It monitors up to 20 instruments at once. You stop missing setups. Your watchlist runs itself.

What the ABC Pattern Scanner Does
Runs the same Fibonacci-validated detection used for individual ABC patterns. Now across your entire watchlist. In real time. Built on a proprietary swing engine for clean, structurally sound pattern recognition. Each candidate moves through its full lifecycle: forming, triggered, confirmed, or invalidated. Built for swing and price-action traders who trade pullbacks. The ones who cannot watch twenty charts at once.

What You Get
  • No more missed setups — The scanner watches up to 20 markets at once. Every active ABC on your watchlist shows up in the table.
  • Clean signal quality — A proprietary swing engine surfaces structurally sound ABC patterns. Less noise. Fewer false positives.
  • Hands-off monitoring — Set it up once. Enable alerts. Walk away. You're notified the moment a pattern triggers or confirms.
  • Coverage across markets — Futures, FX, crypto, equities, indices. Anything TradingView supports.
  • Ready-to-execute signals — Every confirmed entry comes with entry price, stop, target, and risk-reward. Or fire JSON to TradersPost and let your broker handle it.
  • One screen, one decision — Scan the table top-down. Open the chart that matters. Take the trade.

What It Scans For
  • Long ABC patterns — bullish pullbacks that resolve in the trend direction
  • Short ABC patterns — bearish pullbacks that resolve lower
  • Retracement-validated setups — only pullbacks inside your chosen Fibonacci range
  • Optional second detection scale — a larger swing size in parallel for structural pullbacks
  • Confirmed and unconfirmed entries — early triggers and close-validated entries, tracked separately

Full Pattern Lifecycle, Color-Coded
Most screeners answer one question: is the pattern there right now? This scanner tracks every state:
  • ACTIVE — A three-point structure has formed. Waiting for entry.
  • UP / DN — Price has crossed the entry trigger. Not yet confirmed.
  • UP CONF / DN CONF — Next bar confirms with a follow-through close. Entry.
  • FAILED — The structure breaks before entry triggers.

Each state has its own cell color. You see what's setting up next, not only what's already moved. No surprise entries.

Dual-Layer Detection
Activate the second detection scale. The table grows two extra columns:
  • Smaller scale — captures intraday ABCs and faster setups
  • Larger scale — captures the broader swing structure

Both layers run concurrently. You see intraday and higher-timeframe ABCs side by side. When both align, you know it. No mental gymnastics, no second scanner.

Built on a Proprietary Swing Engine
Detection is only as good as the underlying swing logic. This scanner runs on a proprietary swing engine purpose-built for structural pattern recognition. The result: high detection accuracy on clean ABC structures, precision swing points, and patterns that match what a discretionary chartist would mark by hand.

Every candidate passes three validation filters on top of that:
  • Fibonacci retracement range — Point C must retrace a configurable percentage of the AB leg (50% to 88.6% by default). Outside the range, the pattern is rejected.
  • Optional time symmetry filter — Rejects patterns where BC duration is disproportionate to AB.
  • Swing-structure integrity — Invalidates the pattern the moment the underlying geometry breaks.

What survives is not "anything that looks like three points." It's corrections that pass a discretionary trader's quality bar. You skip the noise and trade the structurally sound setups.

Webhook-Ready Execution
Every confirmed entry can fire a TradersPost-compatible JSON alert. Full trade package included:
  • Entry price, stop level, take-profit target
  • Risk/reward ratio
  • Auto-computed position size from account size and per-trade risk %

Three target methods are available: Fixed Risk Reward, AB Projection, or Reciprocal Ratio. The alert payload matches your preferred target methodology. No downstream logic needed. You stop watching the table. The trades route themselves.

How to Use This Scanner
  1. Load your watchlist into the symbol slots.
  2. Choose your trade direction: long, short, or both.
  3. Set the retracement window that defines a valid pullback for your style.
  4. Pick an entry method — bar-close confirmation, or a defined retracement level.
  5. Watch the table for cells advancing to the confirmed-entry state.
  6. Drop to that chart. Manage the trade with the calculated entry, stop, and target.

Works on any timeframe. Intraday and swing horizons both benefit. The second detection scale catches structural pullbacks rather than minor ones.

What Makes This Different
Most ABC and 1-2-3 screeners stop at "pattern detected — yes or no." This one goes further in four ways:
  • Full lifecycle tracking — Surfaces patterns from formation through confirmation or invalidation. You see what's setting up next, not just what's already triggered.
  • Concurrent dual-layer detection — Two swing scales run at once. Monitor intraday and swing-scale ABCs without splitting attention.
  • Proprietary swing engine — Purpose-built for structural pattern recognition. Precision swing points and Fibonacci-validated filtering applied across an entire watchlist.
  • Webhook-ready execution — Confirmed entries fire TradersPost-compatible JSON with stop, target, RR, and position size. Closes the loop from detection to order routing.

Key Settings
  • Trade Directions — long, short, or both. Default: Long + Short
  • Detection Size — the swing scale used to find patterns. Smaller values find more frequent, smaller pullbacks. Default: 7
  • Second Detection Scale — adds a parallel larger-swing layer with its own table columns. Default: off
  • Retracement Range — the minimum and maximum pullback depth that qualifies a pattern. Default: 50% to 88.6%
  • Entry Method — bar-close confirmation, or a defined retracement level. Default: Bar Confirmation
  • Target Type — fixed risk-reward, projection of the prior leg, or a ratio scaled to pullback depth. Default: Fixed Risk Reward
  • Custom Alert Message — optional broker-ready JSON template with risk-based position sizing. Default: off

All visual elements (colors, line styles, widths) are fully customizable.

A complete ABC scanning framework in a single dashboard. Chart-level detection quality across your entire watchlist. From formation to execution.
