BITCOIN | WHY IS THE CRYPTO MARKET FALLING?

The cryptocurrency market remains under pressure as capital continues to rotate toward the U.S. stock market, driven by the ongoing artificial intelligence boom. While Bitcoin BTCUSD has struggled this year, several AI-related stocks have delivered triple-digit gains, attracting both institutional and retail investors away from digital assets.

However, not all sectors of the crypto market are suffering. While Bitcoin and many major cryptocurrencies have experienced significant declines, several AI-focused crypto projects have recorded strong gains this year. Tokens such as Humanity Protocol HUSD , Worldcoin WLDUSDT , Venice Token VVVUSD , and Near Protocol have outperformed the broader market, highlighting a clear shift in investor interest toward artificial intelligence-related assets.

At the same time, investor demand for crypto investment products has weakened significantly. Bitcoin ETFs have recorded billions of dollars in net outflows since mid-May, while Ethereum ETHUSD ETFs have also experienced persistent withdrawals throughout most of the year. This decline in institutional participation has added further pressure to the broader crypto market.

Technically, Bitcoin has confirmed a bearish breakout from a rising wedge pattern, a formation that often signals trend exhaustion and downside continuation. Following the breakdown, Bitcoin may see a short-term corrective rebound; however, as long as key resistance levels remain intact, the broader structure continues to favor further downside toward the 60,280 and 57,360 support zones.

Additional selling pressure emerged after Strategy, the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder, sold approximately $2.5 million worth of Bitcoin last week. Although the amount is relatively small compared to its overall holdings, the move raised concerns among investors after years of continuous accumulation.

The market is also still feeling the effects of the major liquidation event that wiped out more than 1.6 million traders and erased over $20 billion in leveraged positions. The aftermath of that event continues to weigh on market sentiment and risk appetite.

Key Takeaway

The current weakness in the crypto market appears to be driven by a combination of:

• Capital rotation into AI-related stocks and projects.
• Strong performance of AI-focused cryptocurrencies.
• Significant ETF outflows from Bitcoin and Ethereum.
• Bearish technical breakdowns across major crypto assets.
• Recent selling activity by major institutional holders.
• Lingering effects of large-scale market liquidations.

Technical Outlook

Bitcoin remains bearish below the recent breakdown level. A temporary recovery is possible in the short term, but unless buyers reclaim the broken channel, the market could continue its decline toward:

Support: 60,280 – 57,360
Resistance: 72,600 – 76,680

Market Bias: Bearish below 72,600, with downside targets at 60,280 and 57,360.

BTCUSD | Extreme Fear Keeps Bears in Control as Bitcoin Tests Major Demand Zone

Bitcoin remains under heavy selling pressure after breaking below multiple support structures and confirming a bearish continuation pattern.

The market continues to suffer from weak risk sentiment, while capital rotation toward traditional safe-haven assets and ongoing macro uncertainty have reduced demand for cryptocurrencies.

At the same time, the Crypto Fear & Greed Index remains at 9 (Extreme Fear), highlighting the cautious sentiment among traders and investors.

However, extreme fear often appears near major turning points. If geopolitical tensions continue to ease and broader market sentiment improves, crypto could see a stronger recovery from current levels.

Technically:

• Below 65,800 → bearish toward 57,360 – 50,870
• Below 57,360 → extends losses toward 46,900
• Above 65,800 → bullish recovery toward 72,600 – 76,680

Pivot: 65,800
Support: 57,360 – 50,870 – 46,900
Resistance: 65,800 – 72,600 – 76,680
