Ethereum has broken down from another short-term M-formation.
It remains below the 20 and 200 moving averages, keeping bearish momentum toward ~$1,303 intact.
Previous Breakdown Worked:
The earlier bearish setup has already seen acceleration lower — weakness validated the pattern.
Regulatory Pressure:
Ongoing regulatory scrutiny and enforcement actions (SEC, CFTC) have dampened institutional participation in crypto markets.
Liquidity Tightness:
Broader risk-off sentiment and tighter liquidity conditions are reducing speculative capital flowing into crypto.
BTC Correlation:
Bitcoin weakness continues to drag altcoin markets lower, amplifying downside pressure on ETH.
AI & Tech Rotation:
Tech sell-offs on AI profit-taking views have spilled into crypto, reducing appetite for risk assets.
So, initially I said I would buy Ethereum at $2,000 when it was way up at $4,000 but now that the trend remains down I think we'll wait for a STRONG uptrend breakout. And the price needs to be above both 20 and 200MA before I think of longs again.
