Indices continue to show extremely aggressive expansion across the board, making current market conditions very momentum driven. Over the last 5 weeks especially, price delivery has remained exceptionally strong across nearly all major indices.
For traders struggling with indices currently, I highly recommend backtesting periods of strong trending conditions like these. It quickly helps develop understanding of momentum, continuation, and liquidity delivery during expansionary environments.
The indices you trade can also heavily depend on session timing. Trading assets during their correlating sessions can significantly improve overall confluence and execution quality.
Session Focus:
NY Session → NAS100 / US30 / SPX500
London Session → GER40
Asia Session → JPY225
Current focus remains on clean execution and following the strongest price delivery rather than forcing unnecessary trades.
