Despite S&P 500 already sweeping the 4-hour low at POI, NASDAQ still had that shelf intact. Plus there was an open imbalance below as the next support zone, where price would be drawn within the down HTF correction.

After sweeping the local shelf at the open, we saw an aggressive pullback with buy side liquidity taken. At the same time, SMT divergence was forming on volume, which together with the HTF context pointed to a reversal before the target itself: the move would continue downward.

The primary target for taking profits was a 15-minute single print, which acts as a strong imbalance and price magnet.
