Before anything else, it's important to understand what OTHERS.D represents in the crypto market. OTHERS.D stands for Dominance of Others, which measures the market share of all cryptocurrencies excluding the top 10 coins by market capitalization.
On the chart of this index, the candles had been compressing beneath a descending resistance trendline, effectively creating a liquidity trendline. Eventually, this trendline was broken to the upside.
Since this analysis is based on the daily timeframe, there is a possibility that over the next 30 to 50 days, some altcoins (not all of them) could enter a bullish phase. This is where the market becomes more selective and specialized. We may see a scenario in which half of the altcoins trend bullish while the other half remain bearish.
