Long term investment, own bonds near 25-year lows.
Entry 81.1
no Stop
Target 84
Risk management is much more important than a good entry point.
I am not a PRO trader. Recently, about 50% of my trades had been stopped quickly.
SellToOpen 2026-12-18 P84, 3.62 (Delta= -0.67)
Allow assignment to accumulate Conservative long term investment.
if P84 could be assigned, same as limit buy at 80.38.
No stop, buy and hold.

Do you believe with 100% certainty that in 10 years the market will be 50% higher than it is now? And are you willing to risk loss of capital at the end of those 10 years to “outperform” a 50% guarantee? Right now, the worst-case scenario of owning selling Quarterly TLT puts is that you will own bonds 5% off of 25-year lows. In 10-year Treasuries you will make a guaranteed ~50% over the next 10 years and receive a guaranteed return of your original capital. It can be argued that an environment of persistently high inflation would erode those real returns, but the probable equity market correction that would also exist in that environment would greatly exceed the loss in buying power. As for positioning: Treasuries, the plan is unchanged: keep accumulating TLT by selling quarterly puts. Twenty five-year highs on the 30-year are a generational entry, not a reason to abandon the trade.
