Gold has printed a series of lower Market Structure Shifts (MSS) from
the $4,720 swing high all the way down to $4,370 — a controlled,
institutional distribution phase lasting through April and May.
Key structural sequence
- BOS confirmed bearish intent from $4,720 zone
- Multiple MSS confirmed each lower leg
- Price swept the major LOW liquidity pool at $4,370
- Strong bullish reaction printed after the sweep

engineer a move down to collect stop-losses - sweep liquidity - reverse.
The sweep of $4,370 is the trigger that puts us on HIGH ALERT for longs.
WHY THIS MATTERS — 3 SMC Concepts At Work
LIQUIDITY SWEEP (just completed)
The $4,370 area held buy-side stop-losses from retail traders.
Price dipped below, collected that liquidity, then reversed sharply.

at discounted prices before pushing higher.
FVG (Fair Value Gap) — $4,390 to $4,420
Created during the sharp drop. Price tends to return to fill
these imbalances. The FVG zone below current price now acts

ORDER BLOCK (+OB) — $4,700 to $4,720
The last significant bearish block before the entire downtrend began.

After sweeping $4,370 liquidity, price has bounced to $4,540.
We are now watching for a PULLBACK into the Buy Zone before
the next bullish leg begins.

Confirmation : Bullish MSS / CHoCH on 1H within the zone

Stop Loss : Below $4,480 (below FVG + liquidity low)
Target 1: $4,600 (structural resistance, partial close)
Target 2: $4,700 – $4,720 (+OB / HTF resistance)
Risk / Reward : ~1 : 3.2 (entry mid-zone $4,512, SL $4,478)
Invalidation : 4H close below $4,370 (new low = structure fail)
