Understanding Market Structure
Market structure is the foundation of price action analysis.
In an uptrend, price generally forms:
Higher Highs (HH)
Higher Lows (HL)
In a downtrend, price generally forms:
Lower Highs (LH)
Lower Lows (LL)

Break of Structure (BOS)
A Break of Structure occurs when price breaks beyond a significant swing level in the direction of the existing trend. This can indicate that the current trend remains intact and that momentum continues in the same direction.
