Trendfollower with momentum pullback engine for GOLD v3.8
Overview & Core Logic
This is a trend-following indicator based on the core logic that moving averages act as dynamic support and resistance within an established trend.
Key Features:
Slope Filter (Sideways Range Detector): Built-in slope filter specifically designed to eliminate ranging market conditions—the main enemy of trend-following systems. When the market moves sideways, the trendline turns gray.
RSI Exit Strategy: Uses RSI levels to trigger optimal position exits.
Important Notes & Risk Management:
No Built-in Stop Loss: Stop-loss placement is left to the individual trader's discretion based on personal risk tolerance.
Timeframe Limitations: Do not use on timeframes lower than 5 minutes. Lower timeframes introduce too much noise, and we have not found settings that yield profitable results below 5M.
